We’ll ask a lot of questions, walking you through the features and fixtures each room of your new home. We’ll run through our comprehensive specifications, and ask about the fine details you might not have thought of yet. Our home building and renovating experience means we know how important the little details are to making sure you’re covered, while your project comes in on time and on budget.
Our transparent pricing/specifications means the costs are laid out for you to see exactly what you're getting. Depending on the building plans and your budget we can create a fixed-price contract for you to sign off. For more custom or architectural homes, we may have to work with your architect to prepare a concept to enable us to give a more accurate estimate or quote.
Your dreams and ideas for how your new home will look are captured on paper in a building plan. If you already have architectural drawings or a working plan, we’ll prepare a quote for you to consider. If you don’t have drawings, we can draft some, or recommend an architect to design plans for you.
Once everyone has agreed on the concept design and costs, we’ll draw up a contract with set start and finish dates. We take deadlines very seriously, and do everything we can to make sure your home will be finished on time.
There’s a lot of planning and paperwork that goes into building a home, but you don’t need to worry about any of it. We’ll produce the final plans and send them off to the relevant council for consent, either Christchurch, Selwyn or Waimakariri, which saves you the hassle of arranging things with the council yourself.
Once the Council sends back the final consented documents, we’ll break ground on your new Canterbury home.
Director Chris Sinclair will be your point of contact at all times. You’ll receive regular updates along the way, and reports at key stages during the building process. Taking pride in our work also means taking pride in your site. While it’s an active construction site, we’ll still do our best to keep the place clean and tidy if you want to come by for a visit.
You’re free to give as much or as little input as you like during the build. We can organise regular site visits as your build progresses. If you prefer, you can leave everything to us and simply relax and enjoy the process.
We want you to fall in love with your new home and see that everything is up to standard. Chris will walk with you through each room, and show you how we brought your house plans to life.
To assist you to look after your home for years to come, we’ll also provide you with a maintenance guide. If you want to make touch-ups or repairs in future, you’ll know exactly what shades of paint were used where, the colour of the carpets, warranty information for your appliances.
